Constraints - limitations a media producers has to pre determin so that it doesnt slow them down from creating a media product.
Factors which many bring constraints:
- time - every project has to meet the clients deadline
- finance/budget - there is a fixed amount of money towards the making of the media product - determins what you prioritise with spending money
- reasources - physical/creative reasorces, human reasources: equitments software
- logistical contraisnts- actually caputring the footage in a city says like london - the health and safety aspects of filming in a city/wires/traffic
- legal constraints - what laws are there which may prevent you from carrying out the work you need in media (copyright laws you cant use music or footage without permision)
- ethical constraints - what are the moral issues to consider when producing anything in media
